What is the Wedding Show? Watch the interview with Producer and Director Sylvie Froncek!

WEDDING PARTY

Who is getting married? That's a great question! Click the button to see who is in The Wedding Party!
We'll also have SURPRISE SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMERS every night!
Meet the 2025 Cast!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mingle with the wedding party, eat, dance, and be merry. Make a toast to the couple and start some drama...get some friends together and choreograph a flash mob...serenade the bride, invite a stranger to tango...It's a uniquely fun, wonderful and unforgettable event where you are a part of the action!

All Wedding Show events are immersive and interactive. You are encouraged to explore the venue, move around and interact with your fellow audience members and the cast!
Don't know anyone at the party? Don't worry about it! Everyone is a plus one at this event and it's an opportunity to make some new friends. You don't have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, but you're welcome to get into character if you'd like. The wedding party will seek consent before bringing you out on the dance floor, or pulling you into a family photoshoot. With that said, please respect the personal space and requests of all the other guests and the wedding party.

ATTIRE

Dress to impress!
Wear what makes you feel fabulous. This is your chance to wear those heels that are too tall, or that ascot that is always too lavish. The cast will be in full regalia and the majority of guests take their fashion seriously at this show.
It's a summer in Central  New York, so it could be warm and it could be wet, check the weather!

ACTIVITIES

You can expect to play some of your favorite wedding games and take part in classic and obscure wedding traditions. You're even welcome to introduce traditions of your own! Dancing, singing and music making are common occurrences at the event. There may be a photo booth with silly props.
The cast will make it clear when guests can  step up and steal the spot light, but rest assured, if you want a chance to shine, you'll get it! Go ahead and prepare a toast or some words of wisdom for the couple. Heck, you can plan a flash mob and make a request to the DJ to play your favorite song.

FOOD

What's a wedding without food? Light refreshments will be available at every event. Dietary restrictions will be taken into account, so there will be gluten-free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options.
The Boozy Bachelorette Party includes one free mimosa. Brunch food is available for purchase at the venue.
The Rehearsal Dinner on July 11th includes a casual dinner.
The Wedding Show on July 26, August 1 & 2 include popcorn and dessert.

DRINKS

Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for free at every show.
Alcoholic beverages will be managed by the venues and may include beer, wine and cocktails for purchase.

CHILDREN

Yes! You can bring your children to The Wedding! Kids under 3 are free. With that said, it is a 2.5 hour event and there will be inappropriate content/language, and alcohol will be served. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

ACCESSIBILITY

The venues are handicap accessible. If you are in a wheelchair or on crutches, you can reserve a parking space outside the venue by sending an email to [email protected]
Accommodations can be made for guests who are vision or hearing impaired. Please email us and let us know how we can make your experience better!

DONATIONS

The Wedding Show is a community theatre production and we work hard to pay the actors, crew and service providers for their talents. Many community theatre shows are all volunteer based, but we recognize that the cast and crew are sometimes forgoing paid work to be a part of this show. So, in the spirit of The Wedding, we invite you to contribute to "the honeymoon fund." The honeymoon fund is what allows us to keep the ticket prices low and prioritize paying our performers. You're welcome to make donations anytime by clicking the link below. Or you can toss some bills in the honeymoon fund jar at The Wedding!
The Wedding Show is produced by Vie Cycle, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and your donation is tax deductible!

ZERO-WASTE

Our primary objective is to put on an event that is nearly zero-waste! As a result, we ask our guests to do their part to make this possible. All food waste will be composted or donated to the sweet pigs at Saoirse Pastures. All plates and utensils will be composted. All bottles and cans will be recycled.
In addition, all of the decorations are from re-used/up-cycled materials or biodegradable materials! Big thanks to B&W Supply, Ames Linen, and the Ithaca Buy-Nothing Community for making this possible!
