WHAT TO EXPECT |
This is an immersive and interactive event. You're invited to play lawn games, eat, drink, make a toast, have a dance...in fact you're encouraged to fully take part in the entire evening. Don't know anyone at the wedding? Don't worry about it! Everyone is a plus one at this event and it's an opportunity to mingle and make some new friends. You don't have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, but you're welcome to get into character if you'd like. The wedding party will seek consent before bringing you out on the dance floor, or pulling you into a family photoshoot. With that said, please respect the personal space and requests of all the other guests and the wedding party.

ATTIRE |
Dress to impress!
Wear what makes you feel fabulous. This is your chance to wear those heels that are too tall, or that ascot that is always too lavish. It's a July wedding in upstate NY, so it could be warm and it could be wet, check the weather! |
ACTIVITIES |
We'll have all your favorite wedding activities including lawn games, a photo booth with silly props, mysteries to solve, and of course lots of dancing. Take part in some of our favorite wedding traditions and introduce your own! Try to identify the Wedding Crasher(s) by uncovering clues presented throughout the evening and questioning your fellow guests and the wedding party.
Dance to a live DJ set by Ithaca's own dj tuggle! |

ZERO-WASTE |
Our primary objective is to put on an event that is nearly zero-waste! As a result, we ask our guests to do their part to make this possible. All food waste will be donated to the sweet pigs at Saoirse Pastures. All plates and utensils will be composted. All bottles and cans will be recycled.
In addition, all of the decorations are from re-used/up-cycled materials or biodegradable materials! Big thanks to B&W Supply, Ames Linen, and the Ithaca Buy-Nothing Community for making this possible! |
